External Doors
Your front door is the gate way to your property and gives an impression to your visitors of what lies within.

This fantastic example of a solid oak front door and door frame is one example of Accolade Carpentry's craftsmanship. It was custom made to fit a non standard opening. Made in the traditional method using mortise and tenon joints to the top, middle and bottom rails and featuring raised and fielded panels on the lower two thirds of the door.

This beautiful solid oak front door and frame is fully draft sealed with a double glazed sealed unit to the top. All door furniture is brass and this particular door is protected with five coats of exterior yacht varnish.

Accolade carpentry can guide you through the process of measuring your property for a new door and frame, or just the door, if that is all that is required. We can help you find the correct door and fit it for you to a very high standard. We can fit any furniture (door handles, letter plates etc) required, and also protect your new door with a finish of your choice.
 

 

 
Internal doors
One example of Accolade Carpentry's perfect finishes. This project consists of a total replacement of the door lining, the surrounding architrave and of course the door.

This door made from softwood, was sanded extensively, before being fitted to give a better quality finish when stained and varnished.

We are able to replace internal door linings and architrave, altering them if required to accommodate your new doors.

Fire Doors

One hour or half an hour fire rated doors.No problem, we have experience fitting fire doors with smoke seals, overhead closers and fire rated hinges all conforming to regulations. Alterations can also be made to the doors if required. We can alter the size of the door if required and also add vision panels.
