Here we can see a pair of frame ledged and braced gates which were a special order for this customer, to fit a non standard opening. The gates are of soft wood construction and have been treated with timber preservative and a protective varnish, chosen by the customer. The outer frame work was also custom made to suit the opening and finished to match the gates.
	This is the a view from the inside, showing the diagonal braces which are let into the middle rail to provide maximum strength and support. The gates have been hung on high quality 4inch butts, with barrel bolts fitted to the top and bottom of each gate. A latch has been fitted on the meeting styles with a mortise dead lock for security. These gates are a fantastic addition to this property giving it a professional and well maintained feel.
